As a Mam of three and a former Art & Design Technology teacher, I’ve always loved activities that give children the chance to be creative and make something themselves. Whether you're planning a Halloween party, looking for a half term activity or just need something for a rainy afternoon, here are a few simple ideas.

Easy Halloween Crafts for Kids

Painting is such an easy Halloween activity to set up at home. Pumpkins, ghosts and bats are perfect shapes for children to get creative with, and there’s no right or wrong way to decorate them.

Once they’re finished, their painted creations can be kept as little Halloween decorations or displayed in their bedroom.

Halloween Activity Boxes

You don’t need to plan a full day out to make half term feel special.

Put some Halloween music on, cover the table, get the paints out and let the children create their own decorations. Add a few Halloween snacks afterwards and you’ve got a really easy afternoon activity without needing lots of preparation.
