About Little Hooray
Hello, I'm Vicky and I believe every child deserves a little hooray.
I'm a mum of three, a former graphic designer, and the person behind Little Hooray.
I spent 14 years working as a DT and Art teacher, and before that I worked as a freelance graphic designer, so creativity has always been a huge part of my life.
Little Hooray started at my kitchen table with a simple idea. I wanted to create something for children that felt fun, creative and a little bit special, while making life a little easier for parents too. It originally began with party bags, after years of putting together parties for my own children and knowing just how much time goes into all of those little details.
What started with party bags soon grew into something much bigger. I began designing and making paint your own kits, activity boxes and personalised canvas painting kits, bringing together everything I’ve always loved about designing, making and encouraging children to be creative.
And Little Hooray grew.
Today, Little Hooray creates paint your own kits, activity boxes, personalised canvas painting kits and pre-filled party bags for children aged 3+. I make the plaster casts for my paint kits myself, put the products together, personalise orders and pack everything from home.
Creativity is at the heart of everything
I want Little Hooray products to feel like something children are genuinely excited to open, make and enjoy. Whether it’s a creative birthday gift, an activity for a rainy afternoon or something special for a party, the little details really matter to me.
After recently being made redundant, I decided it was time to really go for it and put more of my time into building Little Hooray. I only launched the business in 2026, so I’m still very much at the beginning and learning as I go, but I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve created so far. Little Hooray brings together my love of designing, making and creativity, with products created to make birthdays, gifts and everyday play feel that little bit more special.
A milestone for Little Hooray
In September 2026, Little Hooray was chosen as a Theo Paphitis #SBS Small Business Sunday winner. To have the business recognised so early on feels really special, and I’m so excited to now be part of the #SBS community.
