Little Hooray is a Theo Paphitis #SBS Winner

I’m so excited to share that Little Hooray has been chosen as a Theo Paphitis #SBS Small Business Sunday winner.

I only launched Little Hooray this year, so to have the business recognised so early on feels really special.

Before starting Little Hooray, I spent 14 years working as a DT and Art teacher, and before that I worked as a freelance graphic designer, so creativity has always been a huge part of my life.

After recently being made redundant, I decided it was time to really go for it and put more of my time into building something of my own. Little Hooray felt like such a natural next step because it brings together so many of the things I’ve always loved: designing, making and encouraging children to be creative.

I create paint your own kits, activity boxes, personalised canvas painting kits and pre-filled party bags for children aged 3+. I make the plaster casts myself, create and design each kit, personalise orders and pack everything from home, so there’s a lot of me in every part of the business.

The idea behind Little Hooray has always been quite simple. I wanted to create things that feel fun and special for children, while also making things a little easier for parents too. Whether it’s a rainy day activity, a creative gift or something for a birthday, I want each product to feel like something children are genuinely excited to open and enjoy.

What is #SBS?

Small Business Sunday, or #SBS, was created by Theo Paphitis to recognise and support small businesses across the UK.

Each week, six businesses are chosen as #SBS winners and welcomed into the wider #SBS community, with opportunities to connect with other small businesses and access support along the way.

Seeing Little Hooray included among this week’s winners was such a lovely surprise.

I’m still very much at the beginning and learning as I go, so being recognised in this way feels like a really lovely milestone. Every order still feels exciting, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has ordered, shared, followed or supported Little Hooray so far.

I’m really looking forward to being part of the #SBS community and seeing where Little Hooray goes next.
